Wifi is not included with the cruise package details, and your phone needs to be in 'airplane' mode to use the Royal app while cruising on the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas. You have the option to purchase a wifi package either before sailing or onboard. 

For those considering a group cruise, if you need to buy the wifi, it’s not necessary to purchase it for multiple devices unless everyone wants to access it simultaneously. For instance, our family purchases the wifi for 'one device' for the entire length of our Miami Florida cruise. This means anyone with the login information can access the wifi, but only one device can be online at a time. Personally, this setup worked well for us since we only used it occasionally for work purposes, while the kids would send pictures to friends.
